Location: Echo Valley, Mendocino County. ¼ mile from Alexander Valley and the Mendocino / Sonoma County line. Bordering the West Side of the Russian River.
Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Block "A".
Geology: Headwaters of the Russian River
Soils: Hopland-Yorkville-Witherell Soil. Loam & Sandy Loam.
Vine Density: 453 vines per acre - 8 x 12 average spacing
Root Stock: St. George Root Stock. Planted in 1976 by Rodney Strong. Gradually being replanted over time with Clone 7, 337, 15, 6, and 4.
